"Current workarounds. For A: I haven't seen queue corruption with mzscheme 372+arc 3.1 For C: I'm going to switch to 32-bit fedora. I haven't been able to reproduce the segfault with anything but 32-bit ubuntu jaunty on EC2. All the AMIs I've tried with 32-bit jaunty have had that issue. No other slices have.
